A new idea! - an audio diary recorded on the road...

Weighing in at under 1kg, this little laptop is ideal for touring.,
Thanks to Jim Graham of Mattick Computers, Morecambe for setting it all up.

Life on the road can be pretty hard going, and experience has taught me that, after a hard day pedalling against wind and rain to get to the next venue, often there simply isn't the energy left in me to start doing detailed updates to this website. I'm attempting to address the problem now by recording MP3 podcasts for you to download - the idea is that they will be recorded regularly - I can usually still speak even if I'm really shattered !

For now don't expect more than me talking into the mic. My aim is gradually to get better at it, and in time I want to attempt more elaborately edited bulletins. These will include interviews with interesting folk I meet on my travels, and some musical excerpts too. If, like me, you love radio, I hope you will like these offerings too...
