The itinerary...



Thurs 15th May Depart Lancaster and cycle to The University of Central Lancashire, Preston. Inner Tuba will give a demonstration in the Biomechanics Laboratory and discuss issues around human powered transport with Lecturers from the Centre for Applied Sports & Exercise Sciences.

Fri 16th - Tues 20th May cycle from Preston to Leicester, via Manchester, Derby, and Castle Donington. Inner Tuba will give a presentation at Hemington Primary School on the afternoon of Monday 19th May.

Wed 21st - Fri 23rd May inclusive. Appearances in Leicester "BIKE IT" schools and at the Leicester City Council festival of Cycling, Wed 21st AM - Queensmead Primary School, Thurs 22 PM - Herrick Primary school.

Sat 25th May - Sun 1st June: Half Term for all schools - Cycle from Leicester to Gateshead.

Mon 2nd June. Presentation in Roman Road Primary School, Gateshead - a "BIKE IT" school.

Tues 3rd - Sun 8th June: Cycle from Gateshead, via Darlington, to Doncaster, camping en route.

Mon 9th June and Tues 10th June: Presentations in Doncaster "BIKE IT" schools. Monday - Carcroft Primary School, Tuesday - Scawthorpe Castle Hills Primary School.

Wed 11th - Fri 13th June: Cycle from Doncaster to Central Manchester.

Sat 14th June. Inner Tuba to perform in Central Manchester with Boclown at a cycling event to celebrate the start of National Bike Week. Additionaly, The Inner Tuba rig will be on display throughout the day, and Jon will be on hand to answer questions about this tour.

Mon 16th June: Presentations in Little Heaton Church of England Primary School, Rhodes, Middleton, North Manchester - a "BIKE IT" school.

Tues 17th June: Presentations in Bury BIKE IT schools. AM - Cams Lane Primary School, Radcliife PM - St Mary's Primary school, Radcliffe. Cycle to Liverpool.

Wed 18th June: Presentations at Garston Primary School, Garston, Liverpool - a "BIKE IT" school. Cycle to St. Helens.

Tues 17th June: Presentations in St Helen's "BIKE IT" schools. AM - Eaves Lane Primary School PM - Robins Lane Primary School Cycle to Lancaster.
